JOB TITLE: Part Time Accounts Administrator | 12 month FTC

LOCATION: Wellington, Somerset

HOURLY RATE: £14.00 P/H

HOURS: 15 hours per week (2 - 3 days)

We're delighted to be working with a well-established engineering business to recruit an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator for a 12-month fixed-term contract, starting in October. Joining a friendly and supportive team, you'll play a key role in keeping the accounts function running smoothly and efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, takes pride in their attention to detail, and is keen to become part of a collaborative team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor payment statuses, and proactively chase remittances
Reconcile commercial card statements and resolve discrepancies
Manage and reconcile employee expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies
Answering calls for the department and assisting with queries

KEY SKILLS:

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
Proficiency with Zoho Books or similar accounting software
Self-motivated and proactive
Reliable and trustworthy
Adaptable and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Friendly and approachable demeanour
